Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry exists to REACH students with God’s love, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge the growing Christians to HONOR God with their lives as they SERVE others.
Good Hope’s youth group is designed to challenge students to grow in their faith and develop real relationships. We hope students come away from our youth group with a deeper understanding of what it means to live for Jesus individually and in the church community.
We invite you to come and bring your friends!

Good Hope Youth Group
- Real Answers for Real Life. Every week, we host a social time of fun and games that transitions to a worship service where we sing, pray, hear a Bible message, and discuss how it impacts our lives. You can catch us hanging out in people’s homes on weekend evenings.
- Middle School (6th-8th grade) – Small groups & periodic special events
- High School (9th-12th grade) - Most Saturday afternoons from 4-6pm at the church during the school year. Check the online church calendar for more details.
Discipleship Teams (D-Teams)
These are small groups of teens desiring to have their lives change. D-Teams are led by a mature, caring Christian adult who will help teens learn how to read their Bible, pray, and grow in their faith. D-Teams are same gender to promote deeper discussion as they meet weekly or bi-weekly.

Solid Bible teaching geared for teens is held at 9:15am every Sunday morning at the church.

Vision - The "Finished Product" of Our Youth Ministry
We want graduating Seniors to…
1) Love Christ - Have a deep, heart-felt love for our Lord
- Eagerly soak up time with the Lord, desiring to grow in relationship with Christ through the means of Grace: God’s Word, Baptism, Communion, and Prayer.
- Understand the doctrines of grace: that they are saved by grace through faith alone by the blood of Christ Jesus and not by their own good works.
2) Know Christ - Clearly articulate & adhere to a Biblical worldview
- Know what they believe and why they believe it, as well as how to defend those beliefs and discern where their beliefs overlap and oppose those of the culture around them.
- Know the general outline of Covenant history in the Bible and understand basic Christian doctrine.
- Intelligently discuss any idea in any sphere of life: be it religion, politics, science, literature, ethics, economics, education, etc. and promote Christ and Christian principles.
3) Serve Christ - Be Ambassadors for Christ
- Impact the world for Christ through their Professions - Become ambassadors for Christ in all respectable professions (callings).
- Take Courageous Moral and Sexual Stands.
- Treat all people with dignity and respect, encouraging others instead of cutting them down.
- Treat their own bodies in with honor.
- Save God’s good gift of sex for heterosexual marriage to a believer.
- Avoid harmful substances.
- Actively serve others and share their faith. “Get over themselves” and eagerly care for their peers, their parents, little ones, and senior citizens, using their talents and abilities for the Lord’s people and those around them, evangelizing at every opportunity.
- Tithe a full 10% to God’s Kingdom work and give generously above this amount to special needs that arise.
- Place themselves under the authority of the local church for encouragement and accountability. Embrace being in a Christian community that encourages, corrects, and allows them to love Christ and His people.
