It is the goal of Good Hope to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to those near and far from us, ministering to them by word and deed.

Missionary support

Supporting missionaries is an integral part of the church. Missionaries need to know they are supported at home, both financially and prayerfully. Good Hope builds a long term relationship with missionaries by regularly communicating  with them, supporting them through our annual budget, and praying for them weekly. The missionaries supported financially by our congregation are listed below.

Mission Conference

Good Hope chooses one weekend annually to specifically highlight missionaries currently supported by Good Hope. A three day event, the conference begins Friday evening with presentations by visiting missionaries. The presentation is followed by a dessert reception. Saturday’s events consist of  dinner and additional presentations. On Sunday, a final presentation is held during the Sunday School hour. The weekend concludes with  a luncheon held after worship.

Short Term Missions

In Matthew 28, Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all nations. Short term mission trips are a good way to join this endeavor. They consist of  a one to two week trip to visit missionaries and support them in their work.  A specific project is often undertaken during the trip. Partcipants gain a larger vision of the needs of the world.  Short term mission trips are offered for all ages.
